Ministers of Science from Sharif and Tehran Universities are in the process of establishing a branch in Iraq

The ministers of science of Sharif and Tehran universities are in the process of establishing branches in Iraq.

The Minister of Science, Research, and Technology stated that we are advancing the higher education reform plan step by step and trying to develop universities based on needs.

Mohammad Ali Zolfigol mentioned on Thursday on the sidelines of the Council of Ministers meeting and among journalists that we are advancing the higher education reform plan step by step and trying to develop it based on needs, so that each branch that is established can create job opportunities.

He continued, saying that we also strive to change the approach to disciplines that have few students or their capacity has decreased, or merge them with some universities.

Zolfigol also stated that by establishing branches of Iranian universities in Iraq, large universities such as Sharif University, Tehran University, and some provincial universities have had agreements with Iraqi universities and are in the process of establishing branches in that country.
