Mohammad Darvish's diversion of the Chamshir Dam is illegal

Mohammad Darvish accuses the construction of the Chamshir Dam of being illegal.

In response to the release of information about the construction of the Chamshir Dam, Mohammad Darvish stated that usually the ceremonies for dam construction involve a lot of fanfare and invite high-ranking officials, especially considering that this dam is the fifth largest dam in Iran. However, we can see that they started the construction in complete secrecy.

Despite all the denials and conflicting news about the construction of the Chamshir Dam, ISNA news agency has reported the construction of the dam by releasing a video.

Since April 2013, when the then Minister of Energy announced the start of the construction of the concrete body of the Chamshir Dam in Gachsaran, many opponents have been trying to bring the danger of dam construction to the attention of relevant authorities by issuing warnings. This is because the Chamshir Dam is located on the Gachsaran salt formation, and by operating it, a disaster similar to Gotvand 2 will occur again in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad.
