Proposal for the generation and sale of Ferdows Garden

In an article titled ‘An Unforgivable Mistake’, Hamme Mihan newspaper has mentioned the possibility of Ferdows Garden being included in the list of government assets subject to the Generative Asset Decree.

Ferdows Garden is located in Zone 1 of Tehran and is the site of the Cinema Museum.

According to Hamme Mihan, the ownership of Ferdows Garden is jointly held by Tehran Municipality and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. This agreement was made during Gholamhossein Karbaschi’s tenure as mayor of Tehran, where these buildings were handed over from the municipality to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Therefore, these buildings, as long as they are used for cultural purposes, belong to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

In recent days, members of the Iran School Builders Charity have also announced that some schools, which were built with the money and capital of the people, have been included in the list of government property for sale.
