Raisi and the resolution of the petrochemical crisis in Beijing
According to reports from Iran Gate, the reports that are being communicated about the situation of petrochemical companies throughout the country indicate the existence of a crisis in the production lines of most of these companies. This crisis, which has had an impact on the reduction of production levels and income of these companies, has now led to the dispatch of an Iranian delegation to China in order to resolve this crisis on the eve of Ebrahim Raisi’s trip to Beijing.

Now, there are reports of the suspension of production in some important petrochemical companies due to technical reasons.

Reports have been published indicating the suspension of production in Lardgan Petrochemical, Amir Kabir Petrochemical, and Pardis Petrochemical. According to these reports, technical problems in the country’s major industrial complexes have led to production stoppages. Considering that Chinese companies have been the main suppliers of equipment and machinery for Iran’s petrochemical industry, it is now said that the key to solving this crisis is also kept in Beijing.
However, there is serious doubt about how successful Iranian officials and the delegation will be in changing the minds of the Chinese. Nevertheless, it seems that the government will make every effort to keep the largest and most important channel for currency inflow into the country, the petrochemical industry, open. Although it appears that the US Treasury’s sanctions campaign against Iranian petrochemical companies will be a major obstacle in this path for Beijing travelers.
