The price of each US dollar in Iran’s free currency market has reached 45,140 tomans on February 11th, 2023, from 10 tomans in 1978.

According to unofficial websites that register foreign currency rates in Iran, the exchange rate for the British pound was announced as 54,440 tomans on Saturday, February 11th, and each euro is being traded at 48,305 tomans.

Although Friday and Saturday are official holidays in Iran, the price of the US dollar has been reaching record highs above 40,000 tomans for several weeks, and it does not seem to have any signs of decreasing.
