Rezaei, a Member of Parliament, States that the Transfer of Esteghlal Shares to the Persian Gulf Holding is Illegal

Rezaei, a representative in the parliament, stated that transferring shares of Esteghlal football club to the Persian Gulf Holding is illegal.

In today’s public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on Tuesday, April 23, Ibrahim Rezaei criticized the transfer of shares of Esteghlal football club to the Persian Gulf Holding, mentioning that most of the activities and presence of this holding are in Bushehr province. He pointed out the injustice of having the costs and environmental problems burden the people of the province while the profits go to others, calling it a blatant injustice.

He continued by stating that in a situation where schools and hospitals in Bushehr province lack air conditioning during the summer heat, and our sports clubs lack basic facilities, the capital of the Persian Gulf Holding, which belongs to retirees, should not be taken from our people’s pockets to fund extravagant lifestyles of a few celebrities.

The representative of Dashtestan in the eleventh parliament added that we demand the President and relevant authorities to prevent this action as it is completely illegal.
