Lotfollah Siahkali considered selling cars on the stock exchange meaningless and added, ‘What problems in the industry are we supposed to solve by selling cars on the stock exchange? Does selling cars on the stock exchange make the market competitive? Does it improve the quality of cars? Can it reduce prices? The answers to all these questions are negative, and offering cars on the stock exchange results in nothing but making cars more expensive.’
