The budget for insurance of women who are heads of households has been removed

The budget for insurance of female household heads has been eliminated.

The government has removed the amount allocated for employment and insurance of female household heads from their budget.

Currently, women’s share of the general budget is only zero to one percent of the expenditures of executive agencies.

However, the budget for the office of Anisieh Khazali and her colleagues in the Vice Presidency for Women has increased.

Fatemeh Ghasempour, the head of the Women and Family Faction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, has announced the removal of the independent budget item for female household heads in the 1402 budget bill.
