The Economist: Global cost of living crisis is ongoing

The latest issue of The Economist, a British magazine, states that the global cost of living crisis is still ongoing.

According to the Economist’s information section, which provides economic forecasts, the average prices of over 200 consumer goods and services have slightly decreased compared to the previous year, but they are still higher than the trends from 2017 to 2021.

Last year, the average prices of goods and services reached 81, but this year they have decreased to 74.

Furthermore, in the ranking of the most expensive cities in the world, this magazine ranks Singapore and Zurich as the top two cities, followed by Geneva, New York, and Hong Kong.

Singapore has been at the top of the table for the ninth time in the past 11 years due to the high prices of consumer goods and services.
