German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that the decision of the Biden administration to restrict arms sales to Israel is understood by the German government, and they are also reviewing this issue.

Mr. Pistorius mentioned on Thursday evening, May 20th, that discussions on this matter are being held behind closed doors during an interview on the ‘Today’ magazine program on Germany’s ZDF television network. He added that the responsibility for this matter lies with the Chancellor and the Foreign Ministry.
