The head of the Union of Home Appliance Sellers: 90% of people no longer buy new home appliances

According to Akbar Pazuki, the head of the Union of Home Appliance Sellers, 90% of people no longer buy new home appliances.

Akbar Pazuki, the head of the Union of Home Appliance Sellers, says that 90% of people repair their previous home appliances and do not buy new ones anymore.

Akbar Pazuki told Etemad newspaper that both sellers and buyers are facing financial difficulties in the current market situation.

According to Mr. Pazuki, people mostly buy on installments from large stores, causing small shop owners to face a decrease in the number of customers and sales.

Akbar Pazuki also mentioned the increase in the price of home appliances, stating that some stores raise their prices without the authorization of the Consumer Protection Organization due to currency payment restrictions. They do not provide a price list and do not upload it to the 124 system, and people are unaware of how expensive these products are that they are purchasing.
