The US Department of Commerce has revoked the license to export chips to Huawei

The US Department of Commerce has revoked the license for exporting chips to Huawei.

The US says that some licenses for exporting chips to the Chinese tech giant Huawei have been revoked.

The US Department of Commerce has not specified which licenses have been revoked. This action was taken after Huawei unveiled a computer with artificial intelligence capabilities that uses Intel chips.

The American company Intel did not respond to Reuters’ request for comment on this matter. Reuters has also reached out to Huawei and the major chipmaker Qualcomm for their reactions to this news.

In recent years, the US has imposed restrictions on exporting technology to Huawei, citing alleged links between Huawei and the Chinese military.

Despite the restrictions imposed by the US, Huawei has continued to expand its activities, and it seems that with the launch of its new phone in August last year, it has shown growth.
