Which Accounts Are Considered Commercial and Subject to Taxation

Which accounts are considered commercial and subject to tax?

Asghar Abolhasani, the deputy governor of the Central Bank, said that according to the resolution of the Money and Credit Council, if an account has more than 100 transactions in a month and 35 million tomans are moved through transactions, it is considered a commercial transaction. Initially, a message is sent to individuals stating that their account with high transactions is a commercial account, and a commercial account requires tax payment. If the person claims they are not conducting commercial activities and has been mistakenly identified as having a commercial account, they can present the relevant documents to the tax organization, and the issue will be resolved.
