Market Recession with Decrease in People's Purchasing Power

The mobile market recession due to the decrease in people’s purchasing power

The fluctuations in the exchange rate in recent months and the increasing daily price of it have had a significant impact on reducing people’s purchasing power.

These fluctuations have also affected the mobile market and the decrease in demand for mobile phone sales, leading to a recession in this market.

According to ILNA, Hossein Sadat Hosseini, the head of the Mobile and Accessories Specialized Commission of the Iran Chamber of Guilds, mentioned that people cannot afford to buy. It was recalled that usually with the increase in the dollar price, the demand for buying mobile phones also increased, but recently this behavioral pattern has changed.

Hosseini, referring to the recession in mobile phone sales even in the final months of the year and during the Eid nights, mentioned an increase in demand for mobile phone repairs.

With the decrease in people’s purchasing power, their inclination to replace their phones and buy a new one has decreased, and the demand for phone repairs has increased.
